Periods Aren’t Spooky is a free, stigma-free educational event designed for pre-teen and teenage girls to learn about menstrual health in an empowering and age-appropriate environment. Through interactive stations, facilitated discussions, and anonymous Q&A opportunities, participants learn about menstrual cycles, hygiene, emotional changes, and self-advocacy. As part of the program, attendees assemble hygiene kits to support individuals experiencing period poverty while earning volunteer hours. — The event promotes body literacy, confidence, peer connection, and community care.
